We are almost in the middle of 2022, and we come to tell you a little about the trends in typography that you will see for the rest of the year.
The contact with typographies is constant; they accompany us when it comes to transmitting emotions and feelings through words. If you know how to use them, you will make your feed look cleaner and more eye-catching. They are key tools when designing, so you have to choose the one that best represents your company and has good legibility.
That’s why at We Build It, we’ve taken the liberty of naming you several typefaces that will be trending for 2022:
Montserrat:
It comes in different thicknesses, Light, Thin, Extra Light 200, Regular, Medium, Bold, Extra Bold, and Black, all in their Italic versions, which make it perfect for both headlines and body text. It is inspired by the Montserrat neighborhood of Buenos Aires by Julieta Ulanovsky, Sol Matas, Juan Pablo del Peral, Jacques Le Bailly is perfect and adaptable if you want to combine the styles of Montserrat typeface.
Bauhaus:
Joe Taylor designed this elegant typeface and Fotostar founded it. In 1960, the font was announced for public use, which made it unstoppable. However, several years later, the Fotostar foundry severed its ties with the Bauhaus font. ITC Ronda and ITC Bauhaus relaunched the font. The current version of this typeface is the ’93 version.
Bebas Neue:
Bebas Neue is easy to use and adapts to what you want. It was designed by Ryoichi Tsunekawa. It is based on the original Bebas typeface. The family is suitable for professional users due to its extended character set and OpenType features.
Belly Betty:
This typeface is modern, is combinable with a serif to enhance its shape. If you make a good combination of typefaces you will create a fresh touch to your images.
Helvetica:
Yes, as you read it, our infallible and best friend typefaces our Helvetica. This has been and will continue to be one of the most used fonts and in 2022 has a new version called Helvetica Now.
We must remember that apart from those 5 we mentioned, there are many more. And the truth is that the typefaces of this 2022 are incredible and are super beautiful. Which one do you like the most?
