Instagram prepares a new application, in this case, for children. Some years ago, Facebook also did the same with an extension of the children’s app “Messenger Kids”.
The growing demand and the interest of children under 13 years of age to create a profile on Instagram has led them to choose to falsify their age. That is why Facebook has decided to carry out this project. A way for children to enter quietly to enjoy entertainment and keep in touch with their friends, but under the management of their parents.
What to expect from Instagram for kids?
First, security, since many ‘depraved’ have gone to the limit and begin to interact with infants to gain their trust. However, this is one of the factors that Facebook manages to detect false accounts of people who want to enter Instagram Kids. In the same way, they will not be able to interact with the child, if he does not have prior authorization or they have not accepted him as friends…
Another reason is that the child or young person can enjoy the same benefits of Instagram more securely and reliably.
When will the application be ready?
What is known for now is that they are working on the independent extension, but there is no release date yet.
“The company still does not have a defined strategy to launch this new version,” says Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram.
However, they are already working on the project; it only remains to wait what the new updates of the case will be.
