Despite the circumstances, IFA 2020 went off without a hitch. The European consumer technology fair IFA, closed its last edition in Berlin Germany, successfully. Which was held from September 3rd to 5th.
The IFA 2020 was carried out very particularly, since, thanks to the pandemic that is affecting the world, this event was held semi-face-to-face, some speakers were present via streaming, while the face-to-face capacity within the venue was up to a maximum of five thousand people.
“After all the event cancellations in the past months, our industry urgently needs a platform on which to showcase its innovation, to bounce back and take a leap,” said Jens Heithecker, IFA CEO. It should be noted that the IFA is one of the most relevant and awaited fairs for technology fans, where some of the participating brands are: Samsung, LG, Huawei, Motorola and ZTE. However, of the previous ones like ZTE or Samsung, they decided to make their announcements in parallel.
Despite the ups and downs that the event has represented, the last edition of the technology fair closed with good results, where in its physical version it managed to attract 150 organizations, 6,100 viewers and in the streaming version with 78,000 users who had the opportunity to participate in IFA 2020 virtually.

Without a doubt, technology is already part of daily life and large companies are working on automating processes to make human life more practical and simple. One of the participating brands such as Xiaomi, showed their new 360º home security camera which has a strange movement sensor and avoids blind spots. In addition, he announced the arrival of a smart bulb “Realme Smart Bulb”, which they say lasts for 13 years and can be controlled by voice command.
Other brands such as Ford, took advantage of the moment to present their new infotainment system that can be enjoyed in the new Mustang Mach – E. On the other hand, MSI presented the MSI Stealth 15m laptop, which is focused on gamers and promises to be one of the thinnest gaming pc with an 11th generation Intel processor.
