CES 2021, the most anticipated technology fair of the year, was undoubtedly a virtual experience, which was live from last January 11 to 14. This year, CES was only online, even though the past year, it lived in a hybrid way, via streaming, and in person.
However, this year there were surprises too. Although the number of exhibitors and spectators was not the same, the brands and large technological organizations bet on showing the most anticipated innovations for this year. Where the main protagonist -as expected – was the news in the digital health sector.
A futuristic CES …
From flying taxis to robot cats, these are just some of the little things on display at the virtual fair.
Where brands such as Samsung, LG, Qoobo, Razer, HP, and even Yves Saint Laurent, were just some of the more than 1,900 exhibitors present at CES.
Here are some of the innovations and gadgets that we liked the most:
The DM Cadillac eVTOL
It is a drone that can transport people over short distances. This invention was invented by Cadillac and has a 90 KWH motor. In turn, it works autonomously and recharges in Cadillac charging agents or with a special plug.
Presently it is not available, but the brand hopes to commercialize them in the coming years.
Immersive gaming chair
It’s the new Razer concept, a gamer chair with 60-inch OLED folding widescreen displays. It will also include tactile feedback, adjustable arms, and tables to take the gaming experience to another level.
Samsung Bot care
It’s the new domestic robot that performs household chores. The Bot Care can learn habits, schedules and also recognizes the behavior of its owner. Also, it serves as a personal assistant because it’s capable of sending notifications to the user to remember a daily task.
Mask with lights
Razer presents a smart mask, has a frontal design where you can observe the gesture or gestures of the person who wears it, in the dark, it turns on the lights and is waterproof.
Plus, it includes N95 quality respirators and smart pods to regulate airflow. This one has a rechargeable case and ultraviolet light to disinfect the mask.
Although for many, the CES experience was not the same as in previous years, it was clear that innovations and digitization are already part of a new reality. In the same way, we hope that in coming years the fair will be present again.
